Fitness Must Haves

We all love a New year, new goals, and a fresh start. I love setting smaller goals throughout the year vs. one big new years resolution. I have a few personal goals of getting back into a better lifting routine and drinking more water! I have been slacking there big time! I also want to make stretching a priority. Something I rarely make the time for and it is so important to do! Here are a few things I love to have to help me in reaching my fitness goals!
CARDIO SHOES: It's so important to have the right shoe for running! I have a high arch and need the best support for these old knees :) The best pair of running shoes I have found for both comfort and support are the ADIDAS ULTRABOOST
TRAINING SHOES: while there are a few great ones out there, I personally have Reebok's and love them! I believe I've had them for well over 5 years now! These make the world of a difference in lifting! Especially for squatting and deadlifting.
DRINK YOUR WATER! That's it, just remember to keep yourself hydrated! Love my pink blender bottle.
Stretch, stretch, stretch! For real, Amara, you need to start stretching more!!!
Recovery: I keep my massage roller in the freezer and it works amazing! Don't forget to foam roll!
BANDS: I love adding bands to basic stretching, warm ups and use them at home on the days I don't feel like going to the gym.
Changeable DUMBBELLS: Honestly these have been a great purchase for me. Living in the Midwest with snow, there have been many days where in home workouts have been a thing!
